I read a post today on the BANS forum from someone that said he applied for EPN and was accepted after only 2 days. The site is pretty minimal, but does contains about 5 or 6 content pages and only 1 "store" page. In my last post on this subject, I suggested creating a content filled blog and applying to EPN with that.

Well this latest topic now has me curious. Because I was automatically accepted into EPN (back in the day), I am wondering if I would be able to make it into EPN in this brave new world. So I've decided to purchase a new domain name just tonight. I will put together a quick blog and fill it with some of my own content and also plug it with some caffeinated content. I will then apply to BANS with a different email address and cross my fingers. The new site is here if you would like to watch its progress. I will keep you up to date as to whether I get accepted. A 2nd EPN account may come in handy down the road....

UPDATE: Well the Nitro RC Car Shop is up. From purchase of the domain, to creating a header logo, to finding a Wordpress theme, plugging in some content and modifying it a bit, and plugging in some ads - I completeted this site in just around 4 hours tonight. I'm actually pretty impressed with how well it looks. I think I'll let it sit for a few days and get indexed with Google before I submit it to EPN. Let me know what you all think.
